In the immense and colorful country of India, there exists as many kitchens and culinary traditions as regions. This is not only due to the sheer size of the subcontinent, but also due to India’s great diversity of climates, agriculture, local traditions, as well as various cooking methods and ingredients. For that reason, there exists no standard accompaniment for Indian dishes.

In Punjab where Bindia’s founder and head chef is from, it is, for instance, customary to eat bread with the good, while other regions generally prefer rice, raita, or something completely different.

That’s why there are no sides that automatically accompany our dishes at Bindia. We rather let people decide for themselves, which of the many exciting side dishes they want to try.
